After careful consideration and exploring every viable path forward, we have made the difficult decision to shut down NextGem. This is not the outcome we envisioned, but it’s one we approach with deep pride in what we’ve built together.

Since our inception, NextGem has been dedicated to creating a platform where sports card enthusiasts could connect, discover, and transact with ease. Together, we’ve navigated milestones such as launching new features to streamline card sourcing, building tools to automate workflows, and creating innovations like interest-based notifications to match collectors with their dream cards. Despite these efforts, we faced significant challenges in sustaining growth and maintaining the resources required to continue this journey.

As part of the wind-down process, we’ve implemented a feature in the Profile section of both our web and mobile apps that allows users to export their data. If you wish to retain your collection details or other account information, we encourage you to log in and download your data as soon as possible.

While this is not the outcome we had envisioned, we are incredibly proud of what we accomplished as a community. From connecting collectors across the world to curating rare finds and empowering the next generation of hobbyists, NextGem has been more than just a platform—it’s been a shared passion.
